Our Team

We are a team of young journalists committed to social justice and the ethics of storytelling. Through close narrative reading and conversations with people directly affected by human-rights-related policies, we work to highlight perspectives that often go unheard.Through first-hand, in-depth, and methodologically rigorous interviews with a broad and diverse sample of local residents—across communities, professions, age groups, and cultural backgrounds—living in human-rights–concerned regions, we strive to provide a more holistic, ground-level representation of social realities. We hope to present nuanced findings that allow international audiences to engage with China’s human rights discussions with greater complexity, clarity, and empathy.
